We did everything we could to sabotage the portrait, but that JC Penny’s photographer turned out to be pretty good. I’m sitting awkwardly for a reason…
P.S. I just played the video again, and of YouTube’s six video suggestions that were displayed at the end, two were the Rubber Bandits – is that your doing or mine Tina?
I am getting suggestions of something called “Geordie Shore”, whatever that might be. Seems to be some TV-series, but I am not really into such stuff. I don’t watch TV any more. No Rubber Bandits, anyway (whatever THOSE might be).
Hope Geordie liked his toys! And I hope you people are going to have a wonderful new year celebration. I spent Christmas in Hamburg and I am going to go to Stuttgart to my sister’s place day after tomorrow.
We are planning on going to a New Year’s party, although I doubt I’ll make it to midnight.
Geordie killed most of his toys right away, but I got him a gorilla one that he can’t seem to kill too easily. That one makes obnoxious gorilla noises. He loves it…in a “I can’t wait to kill you” sort of way. I think he might be a little afraid of what he’ll find inside, so he hasn’t torn that one apart yet. (He’s very surgical in his killings. He first rips apart the animal in exactly the spot where the squeaker is, then he pulls out the plastic “squeaker” part of the squeaker so that it can no longer make noise. Then and only then is the animal “killed”.)
Happy New Year to you! I’m curious about Geordie Shore…I wonder if it’s on Netflix.
The Rubber Bandits…I would recommend the “Spastic Hawk” video. But you have to have a very specific strange sense of humor to appreciate it. I showed it to my friend and he said, “Wow. I wish I could have those minutes of my life back.” His girlfriend and I were about to pee our pants we were laughing so hard, and this on the second viewing.
It’s the sweater…menage a trois reindeer. Don’t feel bad, only a few people got it. I walk around with the sweater on and people don’t notice. When I first bought the thing, I thought, “How can I really wear this in public?” Turns out nobody looks that closely.
Ha! Well proudly would work, but the photographer had us positioned just so and I sat up straight to make certain my sweater—which I’d bought specifically for this purpose—would get included. I guess it kind of did. If you have a magnifying glass.
Beyond cute! [Geordie I mean; well, all of you, of course! Ahem.]

Yay! I’ve always known I was an ass, but it’s nice to get recognition.

Poor Geordie! He has no thumbs to work with scissors. XD
Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year!
(Were you going to tell us the reason?)

Oh, I see. Cute! I totally did not notice, but even knowing, it doesn’t really stand out in the photo. Now that you mentioned it, I can see it.
But I’m not sure it explains why you’re sitting awkwardly as opposed to, say, proudly… 😀
